Note
- reservations strictly via phone from hotel concierge in Japan, i.e tried 2 other reservation methods but failed - (1) calling from SG and (2) cousin at restaurant 2 days prior were both not accepted
- 3 menus for lunch (5k, 8k, 10k yen) and dinner (15k, 18k, 20k yen)
- went for 8,000 yen lunch with 9 courses + 1 dessert + tea
- cousin went for dinner 18,000 yen dinner with 10 courses + 1 dessert + tea and better ingredients
- would recommend lunch experience as sufficient
- managed to make reservation via hotel concierge on Friday evening for Saturday lunch
- 5 minute walk from Namba metro station
- 12pm was 10 seat full, with remaining 2 seats arriving at 1pm
Appetizer - tofu paste, small shrimp, makomo & mizunomi (wild vegetables), chrysanthemum flower & leaf
Small dish - deep fried wheat gluten & yuzu citron miso, pumpkin chips

Left to Right - Fish bonito + Squid basil + Snapper seaweed +Anaco eel +Baracuda spice sauce
Duck meat dumpling soup, Black pepper, Turnip leaf & yellow chives, Red bell pepper kudzu starch tofu
Grilled hamo eel & eel egg, Yuzu citron, Shimeji mushroom & sudachi citron, Myoga ginger
Cooked mackeral & japanese mitten crab miso soup, Deep fried tofu, Taro, Pea
Deep fried cutlassfish & leek & mitsuba leaf, Lily bulb, Maitake mushroom
Cream croquette (in shrimp & onion - similar to gratin)
Grilled wagyu beef, Celery miso sauce, Lotus root & wheat gluten, Mustard
Cooked rice in dried shitake mushroom & dried shrimp
Green apple mochi & Cooked pea (tea flavour)
Green tea, Plum jelly
