a) Top left pic - After car is parked, barrier flap is raised to prevent car removal and pay only upon exit

b)  Right pic - To move car out, key in car lot number, pay displayed car park charges using notes or coins

c) Bottom left pic - Barrier flap is lowered and car can be moved

- could have parked at car rental lot in building next to hotel but went back late and car park was closed
- overnight underground parking at hotel @ 50% discount / JPY3,150 / S$38

2) Kyoto - Daiwa Royal Hotel Grande
-  open air car park
- overnight parking @ guest price of JPY1,000 / S$12

3) public parking in Osaka in Kyoto
- open air parking can be located on google map
- charges range but is about JPY1,000 / S$12 per hour, with cap of about JPY2,000 / S$24 for the day
