Open 8.30am to 10pm (closed on Monday)

Since - March 2017

Note
- Reservations on Chope

- 2 pax for S$90 but paid $30 after $60 Chope vouchers

After dinner thoughts
- Reasonably priced water, still or sparkling, through Scandinavian purification system and not shipped
- Loaf bread can be part eaten (toasted if preferred) at restaurant & part packed home, with 6 pcs / half loaf
- Tiny mussels came with 2 pieces of Wave sourdough bread, soft from organic white flour
- Seabass was nicely complemented by generous serving of salad & Kailan
- Marinated strawberry, small & cute, carried its natural sweetness, and not overpowered by sugar while sourdough ice cream wasn’t too different from normal ice cream, topped off by what looked like a very thin slice of toasted bread
- 8 variety of sourdough bread with different textures due to flour combinations, e.g. white, wholemeal, rye

Recommendations
- Sourdough bread, of course
- Marinated strawberry, sourdough ice cream, toasted almonds
- Sparkling water :)

Note:
1) mochi croissants are also available at
[ + ] Stateland Cafe - 30 Bali Lane
[ + ] CT Hub 2 - 114 Lavender Street, #01-05

2) 6 flavours which are updated weekly on FB & IG, with prices ranging from $3 to $5
3) best to call / watsapp the friendly KC (co-founder) to check availability

After-taste thoughts:
- not your usual light, flaky, buttery croissants
- flaky crisp on the outside and chewy on this inside, thus called mochi croissant, which is apparently the first in Singapore
- heavy snack which may appeal to those appreciative of food innovation, being a combination of western pastry and local kueh
- aesthetically appealing with interesting flavors to again cater to western (kinder bueno, key lime cheesecake meringue) and local (matcha, osmanthus oolong, orh nee) taste buds
- kudos to the two young entrepreneurs

Key Lime Meringue - S$4

Cross section of Key Lime Meringue

Kinder Bueno with Almonds - S$5

Hours - 11.30am to 4pm (closed on Monday)

Note:
- only 6 items on the menu
- most tables order the Yong Tau Foo (YTF) and abacus
- YTF comes in small $6 (10 pieces), medium $9 (16 pieces) and large $12 (20 pieces)
- overheard orders tailored with less bitter gourd and more tofu
- no carbo dish except for abacus
- small place with about 10 tables
- 3 tables occupied when we arrived at about 12pm on Sunday, fast turnover but queue built up when we drove past at 1.15pm
- 2 pax for lunch @ $21 - medium YTF ($9) + small lala ($12)

After-meal thoughts:
- was not a filling meal
- would be happy with my standard hawker YTF at Redhill food centre, in terms of quantity and taste :)
